Born in Istanbul in 1979.\u00a0Began his music career with Murat Ermutlu at \u00d6zel Kalam\u0131\u015f High School.<\/p>\n

In 1997 he won a four-year scholarship at \u0130stanbul Bilgi University Music (Composition) Department. He studied guitar techniques and expression styles with Kamil \u00d6zler, Ne\u015fet Ruacan and Sevket Ak\u0131nc\u0131, and elaborated on jazz composition and arrangement techniques with Aydin Esen, Ali Perret, Can Kozlu and Kamil \u00d6zler.<\/p>\n

He studied classical composition techniques with Kent Mete.<\/p>\n

He played at various jazz clubs with the band \u201cOn Cue\u201d, which he formed in 2000.<\/p>\n

In 2001 he graduated with a First Class Honours from Bilgi University Music Department.<\/p>\n

Since 2003, he has been working with Cengiz ONURAL and Bora EBEO\u011eLU in the production of TV series soundtracks and movie soundtracks.<\/p>\n

In October 2004, upon the invitation of David \u201cFUZE\u201d Fiuczynski, he held a workshop at the Berklee COLLEGE OF MUSIC on fretless guitar and modes in Turkish music. \u2028In 2007 he took part in Cengiz ONURAL\u2019s album entitled \u201cBir Nefes Hayat\u201d as an arranger. The album was released by Kalan Music ( www.kalan.com<\/a>)<\/p>\n

In 2008 he recorded his first album \u201c\u0130LE\u201d, which was produced by Sinan Sak\u0131zl\u0131 within Bayku\u015f Music. In this album, Arda Baykurt is on the drums and Alper K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 is on the bass.<\/p>\n

The same year, with Aria, he composed and arranged the soundtrack for the movie \u201cIss\u0131z Adam\u201d, which is written and directed by \u00c7a\u011fan Irmak, and won Ye\u015fil\u00e7am \u201cSoundtrack of the Year 2009\u201d prize.<\/p>\n

In 2009 Cenk Erdo\u011fan Trio feat. Tineke Postma played in the 16th \u0130stanbul Jazz Festival.<\/p>\n

The same year, he played with Yinon Muallem ensemble in \u201cKarawane 2009\u201d festival, organized in Bochum.<\/p>\n

Also the same year, he played with the trio he formed with Nihan Devecio\u011flu and Adam Matta in Zaltsburg Music Fest, Bayreuth Young Artists Fest, and Bonn Summer Fest.<\/p>\n

In 2010 he played in \u201cTurkophony all stars\u201d band with Trilok Gurtu and Doninique di Piazza.<\/p>\n

In 2011 he played in \u201cTurkophony all stars\u201d band with Dave Weckl,Kai Eckhardt,Eric levy<\/p>\n

He still composes and arranges television series soundtracks and movie soundtracks with Aria Music, and gives concerts with Cenk Erdo\u011fan Trio\u2026<\/p>\n
